“That’s how far I am. Thinking about stopping before episode 8. Sound quality in the first 2 episodes is terrible. People being interviewed is fine but the narrator is in a well someplace. Errors are too numerous to list. The biggest one to me was the “Red China” shooting medals. The People’s Republic of China doesn’t call themselves Red China. We, in the West, might. They don’t. A shooting medal wouldn’t say ‘Red China’. Then, talking to a CIA agent. We are supposed to believe that’s a CIA agent? A 15 year old girl trying to sound like a government employee. Doesn’t work for me. This whole podcast is a mess.
***** and here’s why I think it is. At one point the main narrator says how this started was her father knew one of the guys being interviewed. And that’s it. A friend says can you help my daughter (kinda like buying Girl Scout cookies) because she’s making a podcast. This is what you get.”
