“I really enjoy the idea this podcast starts with, CEO of RH delving into the investing podcasting world! However, it so far just falls really flat.
Vlad has a very geeky personality which isn’t bad, but it just doesn’t fit the tone of everything else going on.
Vlad needs to ask some deeper heavier hitting questions. He doesn’t need “gotcha” type content, but something more than the “how did that make you feel?” Questions.
Vlad is the CEO of RH!!! Let us know that! Tell us some cool facts about RH! Tell us something exciting RH is working on! Ask the guests on what they like/dislike about RH! Reveal some history and funny stories about RH.
I feel like most investing related podcasts (besides RH Snacks) should be around the 1 hour mark. Investing is a complex thing, and only talking about the basics in a short 30 minutes is not enough.
Lastly, I think there needs to be a couple of episodes of just Vlad. As little editing as possible and just let him be himself. Talk about public companies he invests in on his own RH account. Is he using margin at all? Does he trade options? Are there any little Easter eggs that nobody else had found within the app? Little things like that could make an episode or two and make Vlad seem more human. Also perhaps do a once a month Q&A episode would be kinda cool.
All in all, the podcast falls a bit flat but I think could get way better. I have seen Vlad recently really step up his game with interacting in the community. This could help him get even further into the community if done just right.”
