“I gotta admit - I 100% hated RH after the Wall Street Bets/GameStop trading ordeal.
But - I gave Vlad a chance because he did enable lots of people to invest, where they couldn’t before. I also think it’s fair for an innovator to have a great business model for generating income. And it’s fair to expect users to understand how RH does make money, so they can minimize fees (ex: market vs limit orders).
If Vlad is 100% guilty of all the reasons many left Robinhood, I think he’s making an effort to evolve from that onside w the users. He took some heat and he’s still standing, we need a leader w that strength on our side. Vlad - I give you five stars for that. I think your investment in your users, vs the DB’s at the hedge funds is gonna pay off in spades - for all of us. Don’t let us down buddy. I know I’m not your mom, but I’m proud of you - thanks for these podcasts”
