Description
Onesimus was a runaway slave when he was birthed into the kingdom by Paul. At Paul’s request, he was restored to a much better state. Similarly, we are slaves of the world, of the flesh, or of the devil, unprofitable to God until we subject ourselves to the better state of slavery to Christ. This New Testament kind of slavery cannot be seen as a pejorative, but as an honor and privilege. VF-2312 Colossians 3:22-4:1, 4:7-9, Philemon
