“This is a debunking podcast. There is no open-ended exploration of the topic. The ultimate conclusion of every episode is that there is a mundane explanation. And hey, sometimes there might be, but they leave out details that don’t fit their narrative, and have a total double standard about believability. For example, in the MJ-12 aspect they discuss all the problems with the documents and conclude they’re probably fake, but they never point out that ufologists had counterarguments for all the points made. Maybe the documents are fake, but it’s misleading to suggest there’s no doubt. Then they spend 20 minutes talking about how government disinformation explains much of the UFO phenomenon and how that makes it hard to tell what the government tells you is fact or fiction, only to tell you in 15 seconds that the whole Roswell crash was for sure actually a top secret Air Force project because Air Force’s documents are believable. That’s it. No other explanation.... ok then.
My real problem here is that if you didn’t have background knowledge of the topics, then the program sounds professional enough and knowledgeable enough that you might conclude the topic is closed. It isn’t. That’s what bothers me... the way the conclusions are reached is shady, since the whole narrative is based around the goal of disproving everything.”
