Anthony Thompson's wife, Myra, was one of nine victims shot and killed on June 17, 2015 at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, SC. The shooter purposefully targeted African-Americans in hopes of starting a race war. But when Anthony Thompson and other family members of the victims faced the shooter, it wasn't hate, but love and forgiveness that won the day.
