Solving a 30-year cold case homicide: Interview with Krista Watkins
Listen now
Description
Krista Watkins is the granddaughter of Tacoma, Washington murder victim Georgia Louise Calkin Ahrens. Georgia was murdered by deceased serial killer, Cecil Emile Davis. We speak to Krista about her grandmother's cold case homicide, and how it was solved after I interviewed Cecil Davis in 2021. Cecil gave a partial confession, added with DNA that was retested linking Davis to the crime, afterwhich a detective from the Tacoma Police Department interviewed Davis and officially closed the case, labeling Davis the murderer. Davis was to be charged and indicted, but he passed away before they could do so. This is audio from a live interview we did with Krista Watkins.
