Almost, But Not Quite
Interesting story, but there are too many moments where the audio quality is incomprehensible. If it doesn’t sound good, don’t include it. A work around? Hire actors to read older interview transcripts. The podcast is also a bit too much about the narrator/reporter. It feels presumptuous and a little indulgent. I’ll continue listening, but it’s not the best.

Well researched and well produced, a thoroughly fascinating podcast. The audio quality isn’t a problem because the narrator repeats what’s been said, which is good because I probably wouldn’t have been able to understand some of the accents!

What’s the point of including muffled interviews that are incomprehensible and then ‘translating’. Really irritating

Dark and powerful. I listened twice. The moment when the daughter Heather goes missing, on the rainy day, while her brothers and sisters are at school, is so atmospheric, and tragic.
