Description
A classic issue for educators is that we just don't have as much time as we'd like. But what if a digital twin could serve as a short intervention mentor? What if you could call a mentor anytime from anywhere for a quick dose of insight? That's what we test out in this episode. First we dig into how Katbot would mitigate conflict in a school regarding mobile phone bans. Then we explore what advice Katbot has for a head of school navigating an enrollment on the decline. We also think about what the research tells us about short interventions: https://www.vox.com/science-and-health/2019/9/17/20827011/teen-depression-anxiety-treatment-single-session https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-024-51740-9 https://www.technologyreview.com/2024/09/12/1103930/chatbots-can-persuade-people-to-stop-believing-in-conspiracy-theories/
