“This is a smart podcast that I look forward to each week. One issue, that the authors themselves have addressed, is how it is impossible for Israeli Yonit Levy to have a detached, purely intellectual conversation about some of these topics. The pain of this moment is understandably personal for her. In contrast, Mr Freedland, although Jewish, seems disconnected emotionally from many of the issues discussed. He is polished and intelligent, but comes across as being “above it all”. Hoping that Israel and the Jewish diaspora will keep the door open and continue important conversations.”
