The GRASSP Podcast -Evaluation methods for gender-responsive and age-sensitive social protection
Description
Gender and age play a disproportionately large role in the way people experience risks, vulnerabilities, and opportunities. Events at different stages in life, like marriage, childbearing or retirement, can mean that women and girls are at a heightened risk of experiencing poverty. Social protection, such as cash transfers or health insurance, can help address poverty and vulnerability, as well as supporting people during shocks from childhood through to old age.
In this podcast, Gustavo Angeles Tagliaferro, Francesca Bastagli, and Naila Kabeer discuss the evaluation methods for Gender-Responsive and Age-Sensitive Social Protection.
