“Within the first two minutes of the first episode, our host states that “if you’ve been keeping up with Reddit/ the true crime community, you aren’t likely to hear anything new…” that they are “not going into rumors or gossip…” just “Sticking to the facts.” Well. Episode two is called “Rumors and Lies and Reality”, so I guess they gave up sticking to facts by the next episode.
The host tells us that people are “addicted” to hearing about this case, (which is, I guess, why they decided they should milk it for all it is worth despite not having any new evidence, nor any theories nor leads reported by the police .
They “don’t want to use the word GOSSIP”, but sadly that’s exactly what this show crumbles into almost immediately.
They are as uneducated as the rest of us about what’s actually happened in this case, and they strike me as uneducated about generalities regarding other crimes like this —-
In laments terms : they’re talking thru their butt-cheeks.
Enjoy every dime you can squeeze out of four students’ deaths, and the trauma of a young community.”
