“These were as a whole pretty fantastic. The in depth research is clearly present. Mixed with Aaron Mahnke’s vivid storytelling is truly captivating. Until you get to parts where actual historians are talking. I found it very off putting and jarring. Clearly people that do not share Aaron’s narrative ability. And yes I understand the importance of having the historians give their opinion. But it definitely takes away from the whole experience.”
