“Hi ladies, I’m still learning the podcast game. I’m 27 w/ 2 little girls & have been in 2 serious relationships that have consumed my 20s. Partially my fault because I crave to be someone’s, I do want the love and the leadership of a man, but because I haven’t given time to me to know who I am and what I need, I’ve been just receiving whatever comes my way (terrible). I see standards as non-negotiable which shouldn’t be bent, changed, or altered.. now preferences those should be handled a little lighter and should be viewed a little differently. I want to learn me now.. so my girls know that they don’t need to settle, but then I’m nervous partly to agreeing with Reyna when it comes to being single or lonely like the older women in my life. I have a live session that I am doing on my Facebook this Saturday with a group of single men and women where we are going to discuss pros/ cons, standards/ preferences, is it you/ them (that’s actually what brought me to y’all’s podcast). I did follow you ladies on IG I am rarely on there but if you would ever like a new friend I could use the guidance, tired of being the strong mom friend, could use some horizontal friends.
