Finally after a slow end of last year the first couple weeks of of 2024 have seen releases from 21 Savage, Boldy James, and upcoming projects from both Benny The Butcher and Conway. I share my thoughts on a couple releases that were pleasant surprises as well as a 10 min Jay Z song I could’ve done without. And ahead of our Brother Joe Baba’s B-day I share some thoughts on what he meant to us all as well as plans to celebrate his life this Saturday. Plus Keith Lee’s Bay Area visit is cut short for some pretty embarrassing reasons. I’m sure by now y’all know the details but I discuss just how bad a light this shines on what should’ve been a great moment for the Bay. And not much worse of a light than that of “Sad Dad” NBA Youngboy who is the father of 11 and when asked about fatherhood explains that he’s not a fan of it??
