Heartbreaking important storytelling
I was initially attracted to the story as an Alabama native and never having heard of this place. The story is heartbreaking and beautifully told. I appreciate the honesty at the end - some things shouldn’t be tied up with a bow. This is an important story that deserves a wide audience.

I’d give this 0 stars if that was an option not only is the ladies voice very annoying I hate in the commercial for this show she uses the term “those 5 BLACK girls” why can’t it just be those 5 girls. Just more white people trying to capitalize on BLM.

This is so needed! Not an easy listen, but it shouldn’t be. A small note: no southerner I know says “pecan orchard”. They’re groves.
