Two Episodes in and I’m Hooked
History is always difficult to do in a way that’s both informative and empathetic, especially when dealing with real trauma. Two episodes in and this podcast passes with flying colors. Josie is a brilliant narrator, and the scenes so far are evocative and honor the people who shared their stories. I think this goes down as a classic.

Been a fan of JDR from her work on Crooked’s What A Day podcast for a while now, this level of care and depth is exactly what I’ve come to expect from her. Extremely gifted reporter with a bright future
