Informative and Insightful
I randomly ran across this podcast weeks ago. I binged watched the first two or three episodes and I anxiously await a new episode to drop weekly. As someone who loves children, it pains me to hear such agonizing stories. But I’m glad the story has been brought to light. I’m hoping this podcast will continue to make aware the importance of caring for and loving on our youth to prevent such trauma that countless children experienced at Mt. Meigs. We must be the change we wish to see in the world.

The story is incredible, but it’s very distasteful that there are some many ads. It would be nice to do them all at the beginning or end. Or make the episodes longer. The podcast has the quality to be as well regarded as Serial but like the constant stops and shortness makes it seem tacky

I knew bits and pieces of this story, and I’m grateful that it’s now going to be told in a substantive, affecting way. For all of us who know that the redemption of the South depends on acknowledging the ugly chapters in our history, this is required listening.

Josie Duffy Rice continues to report and bring light to the corners of our history that warrant deep investigations. Because of her hard work, we get the distinct opportunity to bear witness to these firsthand accounts.
