Court competency
Michael Cummings murdered 8 family members in 2018, largest mass murder in the state of TN. He was held incompetent for 4 years, every court hearing was going back to square one. Finally this past year he was found competent and agreed to a plea deal. Now this boy has serious mental health issues and is clearly psychotic, however not insane. Thank you for this podcast that shines a light on the court system and how incompetency pushes a pause button and many accused take advantage of that.

Episodes are way too short, mostly repeating information from previous episodes and full of ads.

I totally understand that when listening to the free version you have to endure the adverts, but I have NEVER experienced this amount of ads in such a short podcast. Waiting a week for a new episode only to have to sit through almost 10 minutes of adverts for a 23 minute podcast… (episode 3).
