An Amazing Pod from one of the best podcasters around
I am simply amazed by the work Josh does on this podcast. Unsafe Spaces tells the grim story of the murders of gay men while also providing psychological profiles of the criminals and the victims and a rich context for gay culture at the time of the murders and disappearances in the early 2000s. Josh brings the same depth and compassion to these cases that he did to the Keyes case. As with every true crime story he covers, Josh provides psychological insight into the lives of the victims and also sensitively portrays gay culture at a time when things were changing - both social attitudes, as well as the attitudes of the police toward gay criminals, and their victims.

If you like long-form, investigative shows that are compassionate and thoughtful, this is just that. Josh reminds me of an American David Ridgen, which is very high praise.
