“I’ve been a fan of Natasha’s “Game of Thrones” podcast so I decided to try this podcast because I love this mini-series and I’ve seen it several times. Your podcast only suffered the same limitations as most American critics: [1] you tended to discount minor characters in the first episode; in British series, the minor characters always show up again because they are there for a reason. [2] You tend to judge UK actors based on their US work (hence the Benedict Cumberbatch remarks); UK actors always have a vast body of work in their own countries before they cross the pond to make more money. [3]You didn’t pay attention to the names of the characters in the initial episode. However, you quickly got over this and each podcast got better and better. I was horrified when you read the criticisms of that crazy woman (people are horrible on the Internet). This is a very good companion podcast to the Lost-Hope podcast. Keep watching more great stuff from the BBC and miss you on the Game of Thrones.”
