Losing the Point
The description of Upgrade is “…takes a look at how technology shapes us over time and how companies…continue to drive us into the future.” Now, I really enjoy following Jason Snell and I love the RelayFM network. But the more I listen to this show, the less it is living up to this billing. It’s just two guys talking about the things they have and more or less reviewing them. I haven’t heard much of how their lives are changed or how tech is pushing into the future. It feels more present-tense rather than a conversation about the future. Generic and not the angle of tech I expected for a tagline “Making more of technology”. But I’ll keep listening to The Incomparable and Clockwise!

More reviews of Upgrade
So many tech podcasts try to overdo the panel structure with tight segments and lavish production. Upgrade gives me more useful information with plenty of personality but no self indulgent hype. I like it a lot. The quality is top notch, too. Very listenable.
