“This podcast is fine, and in Ashley Flower’s usual style I’ve come to love. I love her other projects, especially Crime Junkie, Counter Clock and Park Predators. I’m big into US history, so I thought this would be right up my alley! Unfortunately, to me this podcast comes across as riddled with opinions, with less focus on facts. I also think Ashley fails to put these historical situations into the context of the time. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure and totally believe that our presidents have done some terrible and crazy things, but I think some of their actions deserve to be looked at through the lens of the time, and not only judged out of context nearly 80 years later. I would’ve just appreciated a more researched and well rounded approach to this podcast. But I still love Ashley Flowers and will keep listening!”
