In 2012, Trace enlisted in the Army and served as a Patriot Missile operator. During a deployment, he developed a passion for learning, business, and entrepreneurship. After separating from the military, Trace and his wife opened a food truck, which eventually grew into a bar and, ultimately, Konala.
