Don Pageler was a green seaman and Crypto Technician when he joined the USS Liberty in May of 1967, after a month he was a hardened sailor, combat survivor, and victim of betrayal and cover-up by his own government. Don joins us to recount the attack but more than that the lingering effects, the PTSD, the physical and emotional trauma, and the constant efforts to try to bring the truth to light. Suffering from the physical effects of that day, June 8, 1967, Don is one of the few members of the crew that survives to this day and is still working to gain accountability. Hear his story now.
