“I was so happy to find this show. I was searching for a new serial story podcast that was interesting and funny but didn’t take too much of my own brain and wasn’t disturbing. Bingo bango this show is perfect. Plus it’s set in a sci-fi/historical fiction version of Victorian England which I have a soft spot for. Plus the dialogue has elements of witty fast-talking detective movies from the forties and fifties without the cringeworthy sexism and racism. Perfect!
