Absolutely excellent
The writers conjure the spirit of Douglas Adams and cram it into a 19th century mechanised automaton and force it to write. Few writers are capable of this and far fewer do it effectively. The writing is fantastic and the acting is superb. In a universe of poorly acted pod dramas, this is everything that audio can be. I can’t believe this isn’t better known.

Hilarious, witty, and just bloody brilliant. It feels like a wonderful mash up of Sherlock Holmes and Terry Prachett’s Discworld series (replace the magic with ingenious steampunk) put on the radio. I’ve already listened to it twice over!
