“I loved these guys on their MacGyver podcast (Phoenix Foundation) and was sad when that ended (and though I totally understood giving up on the reboot). Even back then I was impressed by their extensive movie knowledge and am so glad that they have a perfect outlet for that here. Now with the welcome inclusion of a woman’s perspective, I am excited to again be laughing along with Patrick and Richard while occasionally learning something about the movie industry and its history. I’ve barely seen any of the movies covered, but am still quite entertained. The occasional shout-out of MacGyver-related actors and other elements from that era make an amusing spinoff from that original podcast.”
