81. Healthy Hormones Series | How to Improve PMS Mood Swings. Hope for Premenstrual Syndrome With Lauren Collins
Description
Hey Friend!
We are in the middle of a 6 week healthy hormones series. We started off by talking about hormones and nutrition in episode 75. We then learned about how to improve fertility naturally in episode 77, and last week we talked about how to have a healthy happy period.
We will be getting into what a healthy lifestyle looks like after 40 along with some detailed support on the peri mid and post menopausal journey. So stay tuned for that!
Today we are getting into the week BEFORE your period. The dreaded PMS portion of our cycle.
If you find yourself super moody, irritable, or anxious leading up to your period today's episode will provide hope and some practical habits you can implement to improve your experience the week before your period.
Be encouraged!
Robin

Lauren Collins is a registered nurse, wellness coach, life coach, follower of Jesus, and mama who helps women struggling with anxiety, overwhelm and the emotional rollercoaster that comes in the week leading up to their period. After struggling with the emotional roller coaster of PMS for over a decade, she felt like she was constantly failing in her relationships with family, friends and God, and didn't know how to care for herself. When she started implementing whole body wellness, being an active participant in her own health and gaining awareness of her own cycle and body, she started to see a shift. Now she teaches women how to do the same thing through holistic, faith-based and whole body wellness, so they can also find the "medicine" that keeps their body well, their mind clear and their identity in God strong. She shares most of her wisdom and insight on the PMS Made Peaceful podcast. She lives with her husband and almost 1 year old daughter in the Rocky Mountains of Canada, and enjoys coffee, anything lavender and being outside as much as possible.

Hey Friend,
Today's episode needs to happen because #1 I LOVE food. and #2 I REALLY LOVE holiday food. I have varied in my approach to healthy eating over the years and one thing has stayed the same - I do not skimp on my holiday meals, PARTICULARLY Thanksgiving.
