Here are some things to know about death in Hinduism: Reincarnation Hindus believe in samsara, the cycle of life, death, and reincarnation, until liberation (moksha) is achieved. When someone dies, their atman (soul) is reborn in a different body. Some believe that the atman may enter swarg (heaven) or narak (hell) for a period before rebirth.
