Description
Benjamin Windibank presents a look at the runners and riders who might be in with a shot at taking on the role of the EBU's new "ESC Director", the position replacing the old "Executive Supervisor", which in effect, has now been abolished. All of this follows a report that the EBU commissioned into the controversial events which took place at Eurovision 2024. Although they have repeatedly refused to publish this report in full, either publicly or to delegations, the report suggests that the EBU have failed in many ways, most notably when it comes to transparency. Ironic.
