I’m not a rule follower
I follow my conscience like a priest told me to do many years ago. This podcast gave room for me to do just that. I love God and my fellow people. How can we get into “good trouble” if we follow all the rules? Rosa Parks broke the rules. I don’t go to church anymore because our local church excludes too many people who I love. Give me the Benedictine priests and nuns. They include me and my loved ones.

More reviews of Voting Catholic
America magazine regularly tows the line and often downright crosses it when it comes to following the actual doctrines of the faith. Statements like “bishops teach ________, but do ‘Catholics’ agree?” Should always throw up red flags.

Although I am not a catholic, I am a Christian and I wrestle with these issues. I appreciate the thoughtful and honest discussion of the complex issues that help me get some direction in what is the right course of action to take as a Christian citizen.
