Intersectional leftist hearthstone commentary
Blisterguy is a great caster and his show was once fun to listen to, and his community as well as the show felt inclusive. This inclusivity felt like a nice break from things that divide gamers. However he has begun to pepper in divisive political viewpoints and stating that if people disagree with him about it he doesn’t care if they continue listening to his show. I disagree with some of what he says but even if I didn’t, I didn’t come to a hearthstone podcast to be lectured about feminism for 30 mins. So I stopped donating on patreon and listening all together. This is the case with friends of mine as well. I hate to write a bad review about a show that I once loved, but the political talk just ruins it for me. Apparently even blisterguy can’t manage to forget about politics for long enough to do a podcast. What a shame. His discord is also filled with a lot of people that share his viewpoints and are militant in their squashing of anyone who doesn’t share their point of view. Those being mostly pc culture, feminism etc. Some ever border Marxist beliefs (not exaggerating). His show is insightful and brilliantly charming when he remembers that he doesn’t work for cnn. Sorry to write a novel, just a long time listener missing their favorite podcast. This isn’t a knock on BG as a person. He seem like a great guy, but he’s alienated a lot of his audience.

A year ago, I subscribed to every Hearthstone podcast available in itunes. Gradually over the course of this year, I have narrowed my HS podcast subscriptions to four. And if I had to further narrow them down to only one, Walk to Work would be that one, without question. This isn't a slight...Read full review »

This is a 45-min. podcast in which a delightful Kiwi provides relevant commentary on the current meta in the first half, then plays a couple of live high-ranked ladder matches. He describes these matches beautifully, including his decision-making process, which is the highlight of the...Read full review »
