Stirling Castle is a well known castle not far Edinburgh and Glasgow.
It's definitely on the tourist trail with good reason as it's an incredible site with lots of history.

Braemar is a wee village in Scotland.
It sits in the heart of Cairngorms National Park.
And it's charming as hell!
Plus it is surrounded by a stunning landscape of hills, lots of trees and 2 rivers — the River Dee and the River Clunie.
Queen Victoria made this village and the surroundings popular.
And I can see why.
It's spectacular.

Canazei is a fabulous town in the Trentino-Alto Adige region of northern Italy.
Specifically, it's in the Trentino province.
What makes Canazei so wonderful are it's location near so many amazing Dolomite peaks and in the beautiful Val di Fassa.
There are so many things to do in and around this town — from hiking and cycling to skiing and snowboarding.
Yes, it's mostly about the outdoors, but the town has its charm too as do the people who live there.

The Fanes-Senes-Braies Dolomite Nature Park is one of my favorite places in Italy.
It sits in the Alto Adige (also know as Sudtirol or South Tyrol) portion of the Trentino-Alto Adige region.
This park has some stunning mountain scenery, beautiful valleys, awesome trails and a very charming town nearby, San Vigilio di Marebbe.
If you love hiking and mountain biking, then Fanes-Senes-Braies Dolomite Park is for you.

The Alpe di Siusi — Seiser Alm in German — is a destination I've talked about before.
It's this incredible high alpine meadow in the Sudtirol province of northern Italy.

There are some definite hidden treasures in Italy.

Ljubljana Slovenia might be a small capital city, but it still has some fabulous things to do.

Volterra was my very first hill town in Tuscany, Italy.
And I fell in love with it.
Beautiful churches.
Roman ruins.
