Really like because . . .
I find these stories really arresting for several reasons. First of all, what a voice for radio/poscast or any kind of speaking/narrating, Luke Lamano has! Also, the acting is solid as well. The research and writing that Lamano and his team do is top notch. These stories are from former military personnel first-hand experience. You learn some valuable incidental history and the specific geography of the regions where the incidents take place. It helps you understand the military as a shaping force in the lives of individuals, but gives them a platform for the voice of personal experience that doesn’t fit in with that military mindset. I like the fact that these are stories of souls who are where they are to serve and protect vs. the mayhem of constant murder and demented motives for it of the original Mr. Ballen stuff, though I thought I’d never say that. Valuable and enjoyable podcast. Keep up the good work!
