Watch Out for Culture Wars
While the actual game chatter is a nice reprieve from the breathless YouTube-style yelly-men that often run these shows, the hosts (one in particular) seem to take every possible opportunity to signal their political inclinations, even in discussions of utterly benign and apolitical games. As someone who plays video games to escape that stuff for a few moments at a time, it gets fairly tiresome. It’s also worth noting that the theme music is perhaps the most arrhythmic, unmelodious, and grating pieces of audio ever committed to binary code, and that is not hyperbolic in the slightest.
