“This will be a long review, but very genuine and critical. Overall, I enjoyed the episode quite a bit. I have a few minor concerns-
#1 The multiple sponsored messages. I’d for some reason figured that since this was an MKBHD podcast, there wouldn’t be any sponsored messages, but I guess that might be an unrealistic expectation from a podcast. My issue here is that there were so many of them, with the first two being a mere 15 minutes into the episode.
#2 I wish the topics were restricted to tech. This is just a personal gripe, not really a flaw in the podcast. I feel like since most MKBHD subscribers are tech heads, it would only make sense to have the podcast be about tech. I’m personally not very interested in the music/YouTube news, etc. topics, at least for this podcast.
Anyway, this is only the first episode, and I get that there’s a lot that’ll change. Looking forward to future Waveform episodes!”
