Fictional wonder
Great show, just finished the last episode and I really felt invested in these characters. Also I love that theme!! The show was fun to listen to, the characters were engaging and it had a colorful cast. I have a few complaints with it though, I thought that the pacing was great up until the final episode where it felt like when they got to the antagonist of the story they started rushing it to make it to the end and it rushed the pace. It was also a little hard to follow what was happening and who was talking at times, especially since the podcast wasn’t linear all the time. My last criticism and slight spoiler alert I guess, the ending while rushed felt a little unfulfilled, and while I’m sure that’s what they were going for there were a lot of questions left unanswered and not in a good way, it left with confusing questions. After all of that I still say it’s a fantastic podcast, it kept my interest and not a lot of podcasts do that. And, if you’re a fan of The Adventure Zone and liked the Amnesty Arc, you’ll like this podcast it shared a lot of the same feeling, tone and music.

Paul is insufferable whenever he tries to be funny. It’s like someone shouting the “Who’s On First” skit in your ear for 20 minutes.

The podcast is exactly what I expected, but I also love that we get pieces of the story here not included in the YT episodes. It’s great to have gaps filled in with some character reflections. MK and Steve have a great dynamic. The dialogue has been laugh-out-loud good. I’m also obsessed with the...Read full review »
