Phew!
I loved episodes 1 and 2, but episode 3 was mind- blowing! I so appreciate both of you for your candor about the colorism in your families and within yourselves. It breaks my heart that we black folks are still dealing with colorism within our own community in 2024. Your discussion was raw, real and healing — at least for this listener. Thank you for being willing to share your traumas that resulted from simply being black. Your honest sharing helped me heal my own.
