Bringing me peace and comfort
I found this PodCast about three weeks after my 15 year old daughter suddenly and unexpectedly passed. I have found it to be a lifesaver. Not every interview resonates with me the same, but most do and they all reinforce the message that she is safe, she is happy and we will see her again. I haven’t read Sandra’s book yet, which she pitches continually on the show, but even if I never get the book, I am getting a lot out of the interviews. I don’t mean anything negative about her pitching her book BTW. I sense a sincerity in her to share the good news that she has found through years of searching- the fact that we really don’t die. About a million people a year commit suicide after the death of a loved one. I know the feeling of wanting to die myself. This program gives me a reason and a way to keep moving forward and to hopefully one day actually start thriving again. I’m still in grief. The interesting thing is several people who have been interviewed and believe in life after death, even had NDEs themselves they still grieve. That made me feel like grieving is not a lack of faith. It’s just something we humans do. I feel guilty for grieving and I feel guilty when I’m not grieving. Thanks for this wonderful show Sandra!
