“Really like this podcast. Clearly listening to good friends with distinct personalities talking. Bits are funny (minus Chris Cabin reading a book intro… boy that doesn’t hit). Love the VHS trailer game! But man, the endless, endless promotions for their live performance schedule is obnoxious. I will skip literal minutes to get through it and they’re still plugging away… more skipping… still plugging away. Ad at the beginning of each episode for performance schedule. Drop a story from a previous live performance in the middle of a movie review. Another plug at the end of an episode. I am sure I am not mentioning another three or four not so subtle plugs throughout each episode. I know this is what they are doing for a living and I get the need to promote. But wow. It reads a bit desperate.”
