Gargoyles are pretty much exactly what you expect them to be. They are living stone creatures that hide on top of buildings and scare or hurt people that come to close to them. But they're not like the 90s Disney cartoon. In D&D, gargoyles aren't statues that come to life at night. It turns out Gargoyles the Creatures are completely separate from Gargoyles the Statues. So come listen to the episode to learn how the statues and the creatures are related and the origin story of the living gargoyles (which is pretty cool, and is, for some reason, presented in a tiny side note in the Monster Manual).Then, let us know what you think.
