Stanley Cup Champion Chris Thorburn, fresh off his retirement announcement from the NHL joins Jax and J.R. to look back on his career with St. Louis, Atlanta, Winnipeg and Pittsburgh. The boys talk about Chris receiving the cup before handing it off to David Perron, when the Blues won in Boston last June, and Chris talks about the challenge of spending his final year in hockey in the AHL.
Thorburn also settles the discussion once and for all, if his new born son Oscar is named after the Blues Oskar Sundqvist.
On a sad note, today is the final episode of We Went Blues with Barret Jackman. It's been a great season with the Blues number 5, we will miss Jax so much, on and off the podcast.
