śrī-janamejaya uvāca
satyaṁ sac-chāstra-vargārtha-
sāraḥ saṅgṛhya durlabhaḥ
gūḍhaḥ sva-mātre pitrā me
kṛṣṇa-premṇā prakāśitaḥ
TRANSLATION
Śrī Janamejaya said: Truly, my father gleaned the essential meaning of all eternal scriptures, and with great love for Kṛṣṇa he revealed to his mother that rare confidential truth.
