28. Luxury Real Estate: Keys to Successful Investments
Description
Welcome to "Atelier Prada," the podcast where each week we delve into the fascinating world of interior design, projects, and especially real estate investments. This week, we dive into the exciting topic of investments, an area in which I have expertise, particularly in high-end real estate developments.
We begin by analyzing the importance of location in real estate projects. Did you know that orientation and light quality can completely transform a property? Let's take the prestigious neighbourhood of Chelsea in London as an example, where the location along the River Thames ensures spectacular views and unparalleled light quality.
Another crucial aspect is the team behind the project. In such a demanding market, collaboration with qualified professionals and the use of technologies like BIM are essential for success.
Furthermore, we delve into material selection, where luxury is defined by the level of detail and the exclusivity of the materials used. From marbles to semi-precious stones like onyx, each choice contributes to the identity and prestige of the project.
We mustn't overlook communal areas, which not only define the project's quality but also offer additional services that cater to residents' needs, from concierge services to spaces for meetings and recreational activities.
In summary, every decision, from location to the services offered, can transform a property from basic to exceptional. Are you considering investing in a real estate project? Make sure to consider all these aspects to achieve success!
I'm immensely grateful to all our listeners, from Madrid to Japan! Your continued participation makes this journey even more exciting.
Thank you so much for listening, and see you next week.

A bit about me...
I am a Building Engineer and interior designer, specializing in high-end projects. With 15 years of experience in the design industry, I've had the privilege of collaborating with a wide range of clients, including developers, builders, real estate agents, entrepreneurs, and private clients. I've successfully completed over 25 projects in seven different countries (Spain, the United Kingdom, Bahrain, India, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, and Switzerland) and have had the pleasure of working with clients from 11 nationalities.
My most valuable project to date exceeds £50 million, and one of my notable achievements was designing a development of 16 apartments where the penthouse set a historic record as the highest-priced one-bedroom per square meter in the history of Westminster, London.
Currently based in London, I continue working on multiple local and international projects. Leveraging the capabilities of the digital world, I've produced and launched this podcast, 'Atelier Prada,' where, in a relaxed and colloquial way, I address various topics in the world of interior design with the goal of sharing some of the knowledge acquired over these years.
