“A podcast doing deep dives on animation?! Wonderful! I love film in all it’s forms and that’s why it breaks my heart to leave this review.
Is they what they talk about interesting? Of course! It’s thorough and detailed info about the history and making of the films/shows they discuss.
Unfortunately it’s just not worth wading through the constant negative, toxic comments from these two. They’re whiny, unfunny, and incredibly judgy. They mistake sarcastic cynicism for wit, and loudly express false superiority to others. Show contempt for other opinions on subjective aspects of art. They both seem to think compiling and reading lists of facts is a deeply creative endeavor, which I don’t understand.
Try it if you want, but I had to stop after 5 episodes. I can’t be “around” these people anymore.”
