Multi-layered character comedy
Just listened to the Daniel Arda episode and it’s amazing. The character of Arda is incredibly well developed and is clearly a satire on the kinds of people you find in these vague internal roles like “legacy” and “sustainability” in large corporate organisations. Part David Brent, part Alan Partridge and drawing on the themes in 2012 and W1A, Arda perfectly represents people who talk in non-stop management speak, buzzwords and mixed metaphors without articulating a single tangible concept. There’s so much potential in Daniel’s comedy, I hope to see him given a much bigger platform so more people can enjoy this.
