“This podcast is beautifully and carefully written, thoughtfully edited, and hauntingly scored. The voice actors are fantastic - you really feel as though you can see them interacting and narrating. Most interestingly, you can follow along and interact with the story and characters themselves to whatever extent you’d like. As an ARG (augmented reality game) the creators have made full websites with hidden passwords and messages, opened up a discord where you can voice your theories and frustrations directly to the lead character, Marlowe Verne, and even receive secret missions from the Auremana, a (cult) religious group that wants you to discover how to channel the energies of the world around you.
If you enjoy spooky stories with grounded characters and that small town vibe, you should catch up quick so that you’ll have been here for whatever happens in Skinner.”
