This is a long one..
I am floored by the negative reviews, and I just have a few things to say about it. Regarding the scandal that occurred after the episode on spiritual warfare with the former priest who spoke on the topic: HOW WERE THESE WOMEN RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SINS OF ANOTHER?! HOW WERE THEY TO PREDICT THAT SUCH A HORRIFIC SITUATION WOULD OCCUR?! In your right mind you cannot fault them for hosting him and they already made a statement. They are distraught by the actions of that priest, and they are right we need to pray for the sanctity of our religious they are not exempt from the temptations of the evil one. There have been some people talking about insensitivity I will say that we live in a culture (this has even seeped into our Catholic culture) that is always treading on eggshells to ensure not to offend anyone. Yes, we are called to charity, and there are ways to be charitable in a way that challenges others to own their faults or struggles and to not take a victim mentality to everything that is said. So having heard the podcast and the way Cecilia addressed the caller, you do have the personal responsibility of your emotions. If it is a topic, you are sensitive to there is probably a deeper issue that you personally need to address, and you cannot put the fault on other people. There is something that Jesus is revealing, and he wants to tend to it. Megan and Cecilia are not without fault just as none of us can be. We are all called into the Imitation of Christ. We are all truly the most impoverished souls and sometimes you do have to take things with a grain of salt. Absolutely love the podcast keep doing what you do ladies! So many lives are impacted by the work you do. Not catty, not gossipy, giving great advice to callers who have any types of struggles or concerns on particular topics which are very relatable. This podcast IS NOT a podcast on theology, it’s such a fun and easy one to listen to. They obviously talk about the faith in a way that is incorporated into day-to-day life. Don’t get me wrong I looove theology podcasts but sometimes I am not in the headspace to take in such dense information. I love how they talk about what is going on in their own hearts and the different seasons of life that they are in. They talk about beauty, relationships, homemaking, some political stuff as it pertains to the faith, birthing and so much more. When they don’t have the expertise, they bring on guests to speak to the minds and hearts of their listeners who may find themselves interested in a particular topic. You seriously cannot listen to their views on things relating to health and the shots and completely invalidate them on their perspectives. They (and you) have every capacity to use that God given brain and discernment from the Holy Spirit to guide the decisions you make. You cannot invalidate Meg on her experiences as a wife and mother when her discernment has brought her to the decisions that she makes on what is good for HER FAMILY. So for those saying that Meg has a holier than thou attitude examine your own heart and the insecurity that makes you believe that she has no right to the decisions she makes on her maternity and the well being of her family. Using the word “misinformation” is so overrated and no longer holds validity to those of us who are tired of the fear tactics that politics and others use to prevent us from using our God given intellect and discernment. The only sheep you should ever be is to the good shepherd.

There’s nothing of substance. Only thing I learned is both girls are privileged and like to complain about first world problems. It’s like listening to high school girls at lunch, judgey and close minded.

I’m absolutely in love with this podcast. I wish I would have had this around when I was in my late teens early twenties. I feel like I am having a conversation with my younger sister. I should note that I am 34, married with 3 kids. I love that they live their faith. This is exactly what I...Read full review »
