About the Guest: Noah Solomon is an Israeli–American musician best known for his roles as the lead singer, guitarist, and mandolinist for the Jewish rock band Soulfarm. Noah's musical journey began in Northern California before his family relocated to Mevo Modi'in, Israel, a communal village founded by musician and spiritual leader Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach. Coming from a family of musicians, with his father, Benzion Solomon, being a founding member of the Diaspora Yeshiva Band, Noah's upbringing was steeped in musical tradition. Noah's passion for music blossomed during his teenage years, leading him to become Carlebach's official guitarist for the last two years before the rabbi's passing in 1994. This experience deeply influenced Noah instilling in him an appreciation for music's ability to uplift and unite.
